We, the undersigned residents, property owners, business owners, and supporters of Lakeville, Massachusetts, respectfully petition the Town of Lakeville and relevant state and federal agencies to conduct a complete and thorough review of the proposed earth-removal project at 30 Howland Road before any approval is granted.

The scale of the proposed project raises documented questions regarding its potential effects on Lakeville's public roads and infrastructure, air quality, forests and wildlife habitat, wetlands and water resources, residential property values, town finances, and overall community character.

We ask that the Town of Lakeville, the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) office, and any other agency with jurisdiction:

1. Require a complete and independent review of the project's traffic, environmental, and public health impacts;

2. Ensure full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permitting requirements before any work begins;

3. Protect Lakeville's public health, safety, welfare, natural resources, infrastructure, residential property, and community character throughout the review and permitting process;

4. Provide the Lakeville community with clear, timely, and accurate information at each stage of review.

By signing, we ask our local and state officials to take these concerns seriously and to act in the best long-term interest of the Lakeville community.
